"With reverse engineering, you accelerate the design process, avoid additional effort, and get CAD models in no time."

In a nutshell

Our state-of-the-art measurement technology offers the unique capability to fully and non-destructively reconstruct your design data – even in an assembled state.

Avoid costly design efforts and instead rely on reverse engineering and surface reconstruction from the measurement experts at Q-Tech. Whether multi-component parts, tool inserts, or damaged assemblies, we fully capture complex geometries and generate digital design data from the original component. Furthermore, our process allows for the use and consideration of the latest manufacturing technologies.

Based on your individual requirements, we take manufacturing-relevant specifications into account and enable your design department to transfer precise volume data (as-built condition) into a meaningful CAD model (STEP).

Our expertise at a glance

Services

  • Conversion of CT scans or optical 3D scans into a CAD model
  • Creation of a suitable design data set with an accurate CAD model
  • Extraction of defined sections as a separate CAD file

Advantages

  • Creation of CAD models with all internal and external geometries
  • Non-destructive acquisition of CAD information without disassembly
  • Acquisition of CAD data for existing components without extensive design effort
