The ZEISS METROTOM family has been developing and producing CT technologies for your quality control for over ten years. Ever since Q-Tech Roding began, the firm has set store by the German company’s excellent technology for precision engineering solutions for optical applications.

The ZEISS METROTOM is a computed tomography machine for measuring and inspecting components made of metal or plastic. With this CT machine, even hidden structures, which could traditionally only be inspected by destroying the component bit by bit, can be made visible and be evaluated easily. With the third generation of the ZEISS METROTOM 1500 CT machine, reliable X-ray technology is no longer pie in the sky:

More accurate: smaller details are now more visible due to the higher resolution of the 3k detector; that means it is even easier to recognise smaller defects.

Faster: Due to different modes on the detector, the scan time of the process can be reduced by up to 75%; that speeds up the capture of a large number of measuring points significantly.
