Perspective in the second generation

Q-Tech Roding was founded in 2006 by Ludwig Kerscher and has been steadily built up since then. An experienced team and a state-of-the-art test laboratory determine reproducible and meaningful measurement results for customers in the medical and electrical engineering sectors, among others, on a daily basis. Since October 2019, the second generation, Fabian Kerscher, has been shaping the future of Q-Tech in Roding.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER OF FABIAN KERSCHER

He completed his training as a mechatronics technician at Technical Plastic Systems GmbH in Wackersdorf as the best German trainee. During his mechatronics studies at the East Bavarian Technical University in Regensburg, Fabian Kerscher qualified twice as a scholarship holder in the scholarship program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, which supports talented and high-achieving students. During his practical semester at DELVIS GmbH, a system supplier for lighting products, he gained experience in the field of lighting technology and design and subsequently worked on his bachelor's thesis in cooperation with the company. After successfully completing his studies, Fabian Kerscher deepened his knowledge in the areas of measurement and testing technology as a development engineer at HEITEC AG.

FUTURE FOCUS OF TASK

In October 2019, he joined his father's company as the person responsible for the future of IT & automation. Against the backdrop of the digital transformation towards Industry 4.0, his main tasks are in particular the optimization of metrological processes and the further development of the existing IT infrastructure.

"As the founder of the company, it makes me proud to now develop the future of Q-Tech with my team and my son. It was very important to me that Fabian gains his own experience outside of his parents' company, although he had already actively supported us since the company was founded," Ludwig Kerscher emphasizes.
